Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule

Over 72 Hours Before Charter

100% Refund

Qualified for: Entire refund barring processing costs

Processing Duration: 5-7 working days

Processing Charge: €50 for payments via credit card

Prerequisites: Must be demanded in written form through email or telephone communication

24-72 Hours Prior to Charter

50% Refund

Eligible for: Half of the overall cost of the charter

Processing Period: 7-10 business days

Processing Deduction: €25 deduced from the refund amount

Stipulations: A legitimate reason is necessary; administrative expenses are incurred

Less Than 24 Hours Prior to Charter

No Refund

Qualified for: No possibility of a refund

Exemption: Contingencies may be taken into consideration on an emergency basis

Alternative: Provided at the discretion of the management, a credit for booking may be an option

Requirements: Supporting evidence must be submitted for emergency situations

Weather-Related Cancellations

Our Commitment to Safe Weather Conditions

Your safety stands as our paramount concern. Should our certified captain judge the weather to be detrimental to charter operations, we extend adaptable solutions:

  • Complete Refund: Issued 100% if rescheduling proves unfeasible
  • Postponement: Reschedule your booking to an alternate available date free of extra charge
  • Charter Credit: Provided, usable within 12 months from the initial charter date

Method of Weather Evaluation

The approach to our weather evaluation includes:

  • Assessment of wind force and trajectory
  • Examination of sea conditions and swell height
  • Forecast of visibility and precipitation
  • Notices and advisories by the Coast Guard
  • Determinations made by the captain focused on safety

Timeline for Decisions: Judgments regarding weather-based cancellation are made at a minimum of 4 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Medical Emergency Refunds

Circumstances of Emergency

We are sensitive to the fact that medical emergencies can arise unexpectedly. The ensuing scenarios might qualify for special accommodation:

  • A sudden medical condition or injury that necessitates hospital care
  • A death in the immediate family
  • Calls to military duty or urgent recall
  • Legal obligations such as jury service or court orders
  • Travel impediments due to natural disasters

Requirements for Documentation

In submitting requests for emergency refunds, the following paperwork should be provided:

  • Medical documentation or a certificate from a hospital
  • Death certificate, if relevant
  • Orders from the military, if relevant
  • Legal summons or a notice of jury duty
  • Announcements related to travel or state of emergency

Processing: Requests for emergency refunds are taken care of between 3-5 business days following submission of the necessary documentation.

Operational Cancellations

Issues Related to Vessel Functionality

In the event that the designated vessel is plagued with mechanical problems that remain unsolved:

  • Alternate Vessel: Endeavors to provide a comparable alternative
  • Complete Refund: Offered if no acceptable substitute is found
  • Partial Refund: Granted if the substitute vessel is priced differently
  • Compensation: Supplementary compensation might be provided for the inconvenience caused

Availability of Crew

On the rare occasion that suitable crew cannot be arranged:

  • Efforts will be made to secure an alternative crew
  • Complete refund granted if the charter cannot proceed
  • Option to reschedule without incurring additional costs

Refund Processing Procedures

Method of Reimbursement

The procedure to reimburse funds is conducted through the initial payment method used when booking:

  • Credit Cards: The process spans 5-7 business days
  • Bank Transfers: Typically takes 7-10 business days
  • Cash/Cheque: Handled within 3-5 business days

Charges for Processing

Credit Card Transactions

A €50 fee is applicable for cancellations processed more than 72 hours in advance

Processing through Bank Transfer

A €25 fee is charged for all refunds via bank transfer

Transactions Abroad

Surcharges may be levied for transactions crossing international borders

Issuance of Charter Credits

Conditions for Credit Issuance

Credits may be offered as a substitute for refunds under particular scenarios:

  • Last-minute cancellations (within 24 hours)

  • Refund on a pro rata basis for the portion of service not utilized
  • Credit for a future charter equivalent in value
  • Gratuitous services or enhancements

Interruptions Due to Guests

Should a charter conclude prematurely on account of guest behavior or breaches in safety protocols:

  • No reimbursement for the time unlived
  • Full settlement remains obligatory
  • Potential for additional costs to arise

Resolution of Disputes

In the event of dissent with a determination regarding refunds, the following avenues may be pursued:

  • Seek an appraisal by our administrative team
  • Submit supplemental documentation or proof
  • Look for a resolution through bodies safeguarding consumer rights
  • Engage in legal pursuits as permissible under the prevailing law
